What is a Group Vote Weight & how is weighted voting set?

Weighted voting is an electoral system in which not all voters have the same amount of influence over the outcome of an election. Instead, votes of different voters are given different weight.
Click on VOTERS > SETTINGS to set your voting weight parameters for your voters:
- By group membership
- Assign weight to each voter
- No special weighting, all voters have the same weight
If the weighting rule is by group, you can set that as well
- Exclusive Group Weighting - A voter can only belong to one non-standard-weight group
- Additive Group Weighting - A voter's weight is the sum of all groups that voter is a member of
Regardless of weight, the voter completes only 1 ballot and weight is applied by the system.
