First, let’s start on the dashboard. And right next to where you have the election check and election window is the convert to nomination button. This will only be visible if your election site is set as a nomination form.
After clicking the convert button you will be taken to the conversion page where you will want to begin looking through your positions and clicking the checkboxes for those candidates whom you want to include on your election ballot.
Once you have selected the nominated candidates that are to move forward on to the general election ballot you will click the convert to election button at the top of the page.
After clicking this you will be taken back to the dashboard with a confirmation message that the election has been converted successfully.
After this, all the selected candidates will be transferred over to the general election. You can see and edit the candidates in the Ballot > Positions section.
Of note, if your ballot positions don’t allow write-ins, please turn off write-ins. In the Positions section, the table includes the “Allow Write-ins” column. You can edit those positions with write-ins turned on. See the below image.
